Naval Architecture & Yacht Design

P2

Built in aluminium sealium by Perini Navi, P2 was launched in June 2008.

For Philippe Briand and Perini Navi, this yacht is the first of a line of very fast sailing yachts. Her American owner insisted on outstanding performance. She is of medium to light displacement at less than 140 tons. Waterline length has been stretched to the maximum, as her bow is almost vertical. For upwind sailing, she has a sail plan with a high aspect ratio. This version has a lifting keel. The boat’s interiors are designed by Perini Navi, and include a very spacious master suite, two to four guest cabins (depending on the version) and a spacious deck saloon. The aesthetic roof design accentuates the yacht’s dynamic character. It houses an extremely spacious and well sheltered cockpit. The vast aft deck houses a 5 m tender.
